Great Days in May

Landscape Project: We began the journey of our building project in August 2006. After two years of planning, and completing construction we began making our payments on the building in August 2008. During the past year, God has provided a monthly gift of $2,700.00 through the generous contribution of one family. This has enabled our building payments to be made on time, without limiting local ministry, world missions, and benevolence. Giving to the General Fund is our first priority.

When we were given access to the building in October 2008, we did some minimal landscaping to keep dust and mud from being a problem during the winter months. However, there remains some additional work that needs to be completed this spring to meet the basic requirements of our city codes.

Sprinkler system: $7,850 (front yard, between buildings, perimeter of parking lot)

Landscaping: $4,850 (dirt work, sod front yard/ between cul de sac & pkg. lot)

$12,700 Total Cost

The price for this project is less than it was six months ago, but it is time for us to get it done. It will begin in approximately two weeks, weather permitting, and be completed by the end of May. We will need ½ of the cost up front, and the final payment will be made upon satisfactory completion of the project.

We have 32 families that contribute each month to the ministry of Whitestone. This final project will not require equal gifts, but equal sacrifice from all of us. I am asking you to pray about making a significant gift to THE BUILDING FUND this month to raise the funds we need. This is something we need to do ourselves, and not lean on someone else to do for us. During the past year, we have entered into a beautiful building with very little said about raising money to make it happen. This time you are being asked to give out of gratitude for what God has already done for us. This will put the finishing touch on the facilities and property we now enjoy.

During May – June the men will be doing a six week follow-up study and application of the Sunday morning message on The Armor of God. Join us.
